These Prices are effective February 1, 2024, but are subject to change without notice.

Because of our greatly reduced and affordable prices, payment is required in full at the conclusion of the arrangement conference.

The goods and services below are those that we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

BASIC SERVICE OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF $2,495.00

Our fee for the basic services of the funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff response to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family and responsible parties; preparation and filing of necessary permits, authorizations and certificates; recording of vital statistics; coordinating with the crematory. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to the building and utility expenses, taxes, equipment, furnishings, record keeping, secretarial and administrative expenses. This fee for our basic services will be added to the cost of the service you select. (This fee is already included, and reduced in our charge for direct cremations, immediate burials and forward or receiving remains.)

EMBALMING $695.00

Embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement, such as direct cremation or immediate burial that does not require you to pay for it.

OTHER PREPARATION OF THE BODY

A. Dressing, casketing, cosmetizing $150.00

C. Restoration of autopsied remains or organ/tissue donor $295.00

ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND FACILITIES

A. Use of facilities and staff for visitation/family gathering $350.00

B. Use of equipment and staff for visitation at other facility $350.00

C. Use of equipment and staff for funeral service at other facility $475.00

D. Use of facilities and staff for chapel service $475.00

E. Use of equipment and staff for memorial service at other facility $475.00

F. Use of equipment and staff for graveside service $475.00

G. Refrigeration for an unembalmed body after 24 hours, per day (included in direct cremation) $75.00

AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT

(Additional charge after 25 miles - $3.50 a mile one way)

FORWARDING REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME $2,495.00

This charge includes limited basic services of funeral director and staff (discounted $1,100.00), removal of remains, embalming, necessary authorizations, and local transportation to PTI airport. This charge does not include visitation, rites, ceremonies, merchandise, commercial airline charges, or additional mileage to Raleigh or Charlotte Airports ($150.00). This Charge applies to shipping within the United States.

RECEIVING REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME $1,895.00

This charge includes limited basic services of funeral director and staff (discounted $1,100.00), removal of remains from PTI Airport, local transportation to the cemetery, temporary shelter of remains. This charge does not include any rites, visitation, ceremonies, merchandise, or additional mileage to Raleigh or Charlotte Airports ($150.00)                                                                                                                                                                                                       

IMMEDIATE BURIALS from: $2,945.00 to $9,540.00

This charge includes basic services of funeral director and staff, removal of remains, local transportation to the cemetery.

This charge does not include any rites, ceremonies, embalming or merchandise.

A. Immediate burial with casket provided by purchaser: $2,945.00

B. Immediate burial with casket selected from our funeral home from: $2,945.00 plus cost of casket.

DIRECT CREMATION (including crematory fee of $325 & refrigeration fee $75) from: $1430.00 to $8,425.00

This charge includes limited basic services of funeral director and staff (discounted $1,470.00), removal of remains within 25 mile service area, and crematory fee. This charge does not include any rites, ceremonies or viewing of the deceased. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are fiberboard boxes $65.00 or oversized wood bottom containers $195.00.

          A. Direct cremation with alternative container provided by purchaser $1,430.00

          B. Direct cremation with minimum alternative container $1,495.00

          C. Direct Cremation with oversized cremation container $1,625.00

          D. Direct cremation with casket selected from our funeral home (plus cost of casket) $1,430.00

*Note: Our fee for direct cremation does not allow for viewing, attendance of family, friends or representatives of the deceased, and are based on the fact that services are performed at the crematories convenience. You may arrange a private family viewing for $350.00

ANATOMICAL DONATION $995.00

This charge includes limited basic services of funeral director and staff (discounted $1,830.00), removal of remains within 25 mile service area, transportation to the medical institution within 25 mile service area. This charge does not include any rites, ceremonies or viewing of the deceased. Medical examiner authorization for cremation (may be required) $50.00

CASKETS $1295.00 to $6,595.00

OUTER BURIAL CONTAINERS $1,695.00 to $17,500.00

CREMATION / ALTERNATIVE CONTAINER $65.00 to 195.00

CREMATION URNS $65.00 to $495.00

CEREMONIAL / RENTAL CASKET $695.00

A complete price list for Caskets, Outer Burial Containers, and Cremation Containers will be provided at the Funeral Home. In most areas of the country, state or local law does not require you to buy a container to surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have such a container so that the grave does not sink in. Either a grave liner or a burial vault will satisfy these requirements.
